A fall dance experience in Houston — workshops, showcases, dinner, and social dancing.
Space City Dance Events is Houston's newest dance event, built to bring dancers from every corner of the community into one room — West Coast Swing, country, ballroom, and Latin dancers alike.
We named it after Houston's own nickname, a nod to NASA and the Johnson Space Center that raised our city. But this event is a dance floor first — a warm gathering where you'll learn something new, meet people, eat well, and dance until the night runs out.
Arrival at 12:45. Last dance at 8:00.
We're taking a single step — the triple step — and breaking it down to its core technique and rhythm. From there, we'll apply it across different dance styles, and close it out by dancing to one song that brings every technique together across different partner styles.
You don't need to know a specific style to join — we start from the fundamentals.

Not at all. Space City Dance Events welcomes singles and couples alike — workshops and social dancing rotate partners, so you'll meet plenty of people either way.
Yes. Workshops are designed for a range of levels, from beginners through advanced dancers, across West Coast Swing, country, ballroom, and Latin styles.
Both workshop rotations, dinner, the showcase performances, awards, the full evening social dance, and snacks & drinks throughout the day.
Yes. Performing is already included with a Full Day Pass. If you have any other ticket type, you can add a Performer Pass at checkout — or purchase a Performer Pass on its own if that's the only reason you're coming. All performances must be finalized by October 18, one week before the event.
Comfortable dance shoes and clothes you can move in. It's a warm, welcoming atmosphere — smart casual works well, with a little extra shine for the evening showcase if you'd like.
